DESCRIPTION
The FC-2 is a handmade MIDI controller designed primarily to control the VB3 II organ software from GSI (link), but it can also be used with other organ software. All drawbars, potentiometers, and switches come fully pre-programmed for seamless plug-and-play use with VB3 II—no additional mapping required.

Paired with a computer running VB3 II, a MIDI keyboard, and an audio interface, the FC-2 offers an affordable and portable alternative to a traditional tonewheel organ, suitable for both studio work and live performance. The controller is built solidly by hand, featuring an aluminum front panel with laser engraved labels and solid cherry wood side panels.

The electronics are based on an Arduino Uno (an open-source developer board). Note that the FC-2 does not transmit MIDI over USB directly. Instead, it connects via a standard 5-pin MIDI cable (included) to an external MIDI interface or directly to a MIDI keyboard/stage piano, which in turn connects to your computer via USB.

While the FC-2 can be used to control other organ software through the MIDI learn function, compatibility with all knobs and buttons cannot be guaranteed, as different software may use varying MIDI implementations.

The FC-2 is made to order. Please allow 3–4 weeks for production, depending on parts availability and current order volume. Due to demand, there is currently a waiting list with a lead time of perhaps more than a year. If you wish to order, please contact me to be added to the list.
