DESCRIPTION
The FC-3 is the flagship model of the Fosse Controllers drawbar MIDI controllers—handcrafted and designed specifically to control the VB3 II organ software from GSI: VB3 II by GSI.

All drawbars, potentiometers, and switches are fully pre-mapped for seamless use with VB3 II—just plug and play, no setup required.

Used together with a computer running VB3 II, a MIDI keyboard, and an audio interface, the FC-3 provides an affordable and portable alternative to a traditional tonewheel organ, ideal for both studio and live performance. It connects to any standard MIDI keyboard or stage piano via the included MIDI cable and fits neatly into a custom flight case for easy gig transport.

The FC-3 is built to high standards with a printed aluminum front panel and solid cherry wood side panels. The internal electronics are based on an Arduino Uno platform (Atmel 328P), offering an open and flexible design. While the controller does not send MIDI via USB, it connects easily to PC/Mac through a MIDI interface or via your keyboard’s MIDI In/USB routing.

Although designed for VB3 II, the FC-3 can also be used with other organ software—such as Acoustic Samples B5—using MIDI learn. However, full compatibility of all controls cannot be guaranteed, as software may use different MIDI values or drawbar behaviors. A dedicated FC-3 version for IK Multimedia’s Hammond B-3X is also in development.

PRODUCTION TIME & ORDERING
The FC-3 is made to order. Please allow 3–4 weeks for production, depending on part availability and order volume. There is currently a waiting list with a lead time of perhaps more than a year If you’d like to order, just send a message and you’ll be added to the list.

A Fosse Controllers flight case is highly recommended for both shipping and live use.
