DESCRIPTION
The FC-3 B3-X Edition is the flagship model of the Fosse Controllers drawbar MIDI controllers—handmade and built specifically for Hammond B-3X by IK Multimedia: Hammond B-3X. All drawbars, potentiometers, and switches are fully pre-mapped for both the Mac/PC and iPad versions of the software. No configuration needed—just plug and play!
When paired with the B-3X software, a MIDI keyboard, and an audio interface, the FC-3 offers an affordable and highly portable alternative to a traditional tonewheel organ—ideal for both studio work and live performances. Its compact size makes it easy to transport, and it connects via the included MIDI cable to any standard MIDI keyboard or stage piano.
The FC-3 is crafted by hand with a CNC-engraved aluminum front panel and solid cherry wood side panels. The electronics are based on an Arduino Uno (open-source platform). Note: The controller does not transmit MIDI over USB. It must be connected to a PC, Mac, or iPad via a MIDI interface, or routed through a keyboard/stage piano with USB/MIDI passthrough.
While tailored for the B-3X, the FC-3 can also be used with other software organs such as Acoustic Samples B5 using MIDI-learn features. However, full compatibility of all controls cannot be guaranteed due to varying MIDI implementations between organ plugins.
PRODUCTION & ORDERING
Each FC-3 is made to order. Please allow 3–4 weeks for production, depending on parts availability and current orders. There is a waiting list, so expect several months of lead time before a new order can be started. Contact me to be added to the list.

The effects knobs will only control the effects on/off in the standalone version of the B3-X software (except wah pedal). This is because the effects amount values are not accessible via MIDI in the standalone version of B3-X. These must be mapped manually by using B3-X in a plugin host software with possibility to access these controls via MIDI.
*Note: The FC-3 does not generate sound—it is a MIDI controller designed to send MIDI signals to compatible virtual organ software (VSTi).
